According to Bob Cadle, this bowl does exist. He says a friend of his owns one. Bob has tried to talk him out of it many times without success. His friend said in all of his years, he’s never seen another.
This small Dessert-sized bowl with a scalloped rim was not put into regular production, so it’s a unicorn – if it exists. I doubt the part number listed is correct (from Gene Florence’s books). Part number 726 belongs to the 4.25″ diameter Smooth Rim Dessert Bowl which came in the Dessert Set.
Sorry, I don’t have a picture. If you own this or have pictures, please share. Pictures of the bowl alone with some space around it and with a tape measure showing its height and diameter would be particularly helpful.
I have six bowls that are scalloped, the exact measurements are:
Inside to inside rim 4.75”
Height 2”
Are they dessert bowls or dip bowls?
Could you post photos? Regarding measurements listed on this site, all are taken outside rim to outside rim. Likely, the bowls you have are Dip Bowls. Dessert bowls are only 4.25″ in diameter and have smooth rims. Hope this helps.
