This Ribbed Vase may be the precursor to the star & lattice-patterned vase (Small Vase). It features a ribbed pattern on the panels that don’t have a star instead of the lattice-like pattern of the vases featured in many Anchor Hocking catalogs.
Former Anchor Hocking employees said Anchor Hocking made this vase first, but then decided it was too busy, so simplified it.
This vase comes in three colors: Crystal, Avocado and Spearmint.
So far, I haven’t found this vase listed in an Anchor Hocking catalog. However, Nancy Hobbs found a photo of one in a collectors’ book that had a gold Early American Prescut label on it. So we believe that this vase is indeed an Early American Prescut.
