Embellished EAPC, aka Frankensteins, are EAPC pieces that have been adorned in some way (painted, ormolu attached, encrusted with shells) or combined with other elements such as a pedestal or handle. Such items were either produced by a third-party company – usually including their own specialty product – or made by an EAPC enthusiast.
This Ceiling Light Cover is a homemade embellished EAPC piece made from a Medium Serving Bowl by drilling a hole into the bottom, allowing a finial to be attached. Those with a frosted look were most likely painted.
