The Hostess Tray is one of the four items that launched Anchor Hocking’s Early American Prescut line in its Anchorglass 1960-61 Catalog. The candy dish is listed in the catalog as “750 – 12 x 6½” Hostess Tray”.
Anchor Hocking produced the Hostess Tray in a 3-Part Divided version as well and made at least one prototype of a 4-Part Tray.
It’s great for displaying lunch meats, cheese, relishes, candy, fruit, nuts, and many other party dishes. One EAPC collector told me she likes to use Hostess Trays for a sandwich and a side.
